It’s that time of the year when maple syrup producers open up their sugaring operations to the public to the learn the science, history and production of maple syrup and maple sugar.
Shelburne, Vermont — Shelburne Farms will have their Maple Sugaring Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 19 and 26. There are two two-hour time slots per day and 10 tickets available for each time slot.

The Ashokan Center Maple Fest 2022
Olivebridge, NY — Learn to identify and tap a sugar maple tree, taste delicious syrup, and explore the beautiful Ashokan Center trails with friends and family. Pancake breakfast (gluten free & vegan available), guided tours to the sugar shack and cozy outdoor campfires.

All activities are scheduled outdoors with the exception of blacksmithing so please dress for the weather. Visitors are welcome to BYO blanket, lawn chairs.

Moose Mountain Maple
Underhill Vermont — For seven generations, the Butler family has collected sap, even from some of the same trees, and boiled it down to make delicious maple syrup. While the ingredients have never changed, each generation has worked hard to increase the efficiency of the farm. However, they still boil our syrup over a wood burning fire.
